Over the past few weeks, I’ve put this charger through its paces, charging everything from my Samsung Galaxy S23 to my MacBook Pro, to see if it lives up to the hype. Let’s find out.

The marketing emphasizes its compatibility with a wide range of devices, including Samsung Galaxy S series, iPhones, MacBooks, iPads, and various other USB-C laptops and tablets. The compact design is presented as a key advantage, making it suitable for travel and everyday use. The promise of simultaneous high-speed charging for multiple devices is the central selling point.

Performance

During testing, the charger consistently delivered impressive charging speeds for individual devices. My Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra achieved near-advertised fast-charging speeds, going from 10% to 80% in approximately 45 minutes. Similarly, my iPad Pro charged rapidly. However, the true test came when charging multiple devices simultaneously. While it did manage to charge multiple devices concurrently, there was a noticeable reduction in charging speed compared to individual charging. For example, when charging my phone and iPad simultaneously, both devices took noticeably longer to reach full charge. This is likely due to the total power being distributed across multiple devices.

The charger itself remained relatively cool even under heavy load, which is a positive sign of efficient power management. I also appreciate the compact size – it doesn’t take up much space on my desk or in my travel bag.

Final Verdict

Overall, this 120W 5-port USB charger is a decent option for those who need to charge multiple devices, however, it’s important to manage expectations about simultaneous fast charging. While it efficiently charges individual devices at high speed, the simultaneous charging is good, but falls short of the speed you’d get with single device charging. If you mostly need to charge one or two devices at a time, this charger is excellent. If you need to frequently charge multiple devices at peak efficiency then you might need to look for alternative solutions. I would recommend this charger for its convenience and speed, but be aware of the slight reduction in speed with multiple devices.
