Active Digital Stylus iPad Pen Pencil Pro TMS-706B Review – Fast Charging for Apple iPad
For weeks, I’ve been putting the TinyMoose Pencil Pro TMS-706B through its paces. This sleek black stylus promises a premium experience, and with features like tilt technology and fast charging, it certainly aims high. But does it deliver on its promises? Let’s dive in.
The Pencil Pro boasts a comfortable, lightweight aluminum alloy design (weighing just 13g!), making extended drawing sessions less of a strain on the hand. Its ambidextrous design caters to both left- and right-handed users. The double-tap on/off button is intuitive and responsive, adding to the seamless workflow. The included pen holder case is a nice touch, keeping the stylus protected and organized. The fast charging is a standout feature; a quick 25-minute charge provides 10+ hours of usage (my experience confirmed this).

The tilt functionality is exceptionally well-implemented. I used it extensively for digital sketching and painting, and the responsiveness to tilt angle was impressive, allowing for nuanced line variations and shading. Palm rejection worked reliably, enabling me to rest my hand comfortably on the screen while working. The Bluetooth connection was stable and quick to establish. I experienced no noticeable lag during use.
However, there were some minor downsides. While the battery life is excellent, the charging port is USB-C, and it wasn’t entirely plug-and-play with some of my older chargers. The slightly smaller size compared to the Apple Pencil might feel different for those used to the Apple Pencil’s larger build.
Pros:
- Excellent tilt sensitivity
- Reliable palm rejection
- Fast charging (0-100% in under 25 minutes)
- Long battery life (10+ hours)
- Comfortable and lightweight design
- Includes a useful carrying case
- Intuitive double-tap on/off button
Cons:
- USB-C charging may not be compatible with all chargers
- Slightly smaller than Apple Pencil may take some getting used to
Overall, the TinyMoose Pencil Pro TMS-706B is a strong contender in the iPad stylus market. Its excellent tilt functionality, reliable palm rejection, and impressively fast charging make it a compelling choice for artists and anyone who needs a precise and responsive drawing experience. While the minor compatibility issue with some chargers is a slight drawback, it’s far outweighed by the stylus’s many strengths. I would highly recommend the TinyMoose Pencil Pro to anyone looking for a high-quality, affordable alternative to the Apple Pencil.
