BRAVE SP-16P iPhone 16 Pro Privacy Screen Protector Review (6.3 Inch)

The BRAVE SP-16P privacy screen protector promises a lot: military-grade protection, Face ID compatibility, and, most importantly, enhanced privacy. Having used it on my iPhone 16 Pro for several weeks, I’m ready to share my honest thoughts on whether it delivers.

The SP-16P boasts an impressive list of features, including:

  • 28° angle privacy protection
  • Face ID compatibility
  • 9H hardness tempered glass
  • Easy installation with alignment frame
  • Anti-fingerprint oleophobic coating
  • Case compatibility

Installation was surprisingly easy thanks to the included alignment frame. It truly made aligning the protector perfectly a breeze. The screen protector is noticeably thin, barely affecting the responsiveness of the touchscreen. The privacy feature works as advertised; viewing the screen from an angle significantly reduces visibility, offering a great deal of peace of mind. Face ID functioned flawlessly throughout my testing period. The anti-fingerprint coating is effective, though it’s not completely smudge-proof – some minor smudges do appear after extended use. The claimed military-grade protection is reassuring, although I haven’t subjected it to extreme testing.

Pros:

  • Easy installation
  • Effective privacy protection
  • Face ID compatibility
  • Good scratch resistance
  • Slim profile

Cons:

  • Minor smudging despite anti-fingerprint coating
  • Slightly higher price point compared to some alternatives

Overall, the BRAVE SP-16P is a solid privacy screen protector for the iPhone 16 Pro. The combination of easy installation, effective privacy features, and Face ID compatibility makes it a worthwhile purchase for those prioritizing screen security and discretion. While minor smudges are a slight drawback, they don’t significantly impact the overall experience. I would recommend it.
