GT2 Dual Sim White 12GB RAM 256GB 5G (RMX3310 / RMX3311) – International Version Review
The realme GT2 (RMX3310 / RMX3311) promises a lot: a stunning AMOLED display, blazing-fast performance, a capable camera system, and impressive battery life. After spending several weeks with the international version of this 5G smartphone, I’m ready to share my comprehensive review.
The GT2 boasts a number of impressive features. The 6.62-inch 120Hz AMOLED display is a real highlight, delivering vibrant colours and smooth scrolling. The biopolymer design feels unique and premium in hand. The Snapdragon 888 processor ensures smooth multitasking and excellent gaming performance. The 50MP main camera, supported by an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP telephoto lens, promises detailed and versatile photography. Finally, the massive 5000mAh battery paired with 65W SuperDart charging offers all-day usage and incredibly fast top-ups.
In daily use, the GT2 performed flawlessly. Apps launched quickly, multitasking was seamless, and even demanding games ran smoothly. The Snapdragon 888’s power is undeniable. The 12GB of RAM further contributes to the smooth and responsive user experience. However, I did notice occasional minor frame drops in graphically intensive games, but nothing major to impact the overall experience.
The camera system is a mixed bag. The 50MP main sensor captures sharp and detailed images in good lighting conditions. The ProLite Imaging Technology does a decent job in low-light situations, though detail suffers slightly compared to some competitors. The ultrawide lens is handy for landscape shots, but image quality dips a bit here. The macro lens is a novelty feature and not overly impressive. Overall, the camera is good, but not exceptional.
The 5000mAh battery easily lasted a full day, even with heavy use, exceeding my expectation. Streaming video for several hours only used a portion of the battery. The 65W SuperDart charging is truly remarkable, taking just over 30 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%, a huge time saver.
Pros:
- Stunning 120Hz AMOLED display
- Powerful Snapdragon 888 processor
- Excellent battery life and incredibly fast charging
- Unique biopolymer design
- Smooth and responsive user experience
Cons:
- Camera performance could be better in low light
- Occasional minor frame drops in high-demand games
- Macro lens is underwhelming
The realme GT2 (RMX3310 / RMX3311) is a compelling smartphone offering a fantastic display, powerful performance, and excellent battery life. While the camera isn’t class-leading, it’s still quite capable. The unique design is a definite plus. If you’re looking for a fast, stylish, and long-lasting phone at a competitive price, the realme GT2 is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it!
