With its vibrant AMOLED display, extensive fitness tracking features, and sleek design, it certainly caught my attention. Over the past few weeks, I’ve put it through its paces to see if it lives up to the hype.

The RS4 Plus boasts a 1.78-inch AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, resulting in incredibly smooth and responsive visuals. The screen is bright and easily readable even in direct sunlight. Navigation is intuitive, and the magnetic strap is both comfortable and secure. Beyond the aesthetics, the smartwatch packs a punch with features. 105 sports modes cater to a wide range of activities, from running and cycling to yoga and swimming (thanks to its IP68 rating). It also includes essential health monitoring features such as 24/7 heart rate tracking, SpO2 monitoring, and sleep tracking.

The 100+ customizable watch faces allow for personalization. The ability to receive notifications from my phone is also a handy feature, although notification management could be improved.

In terms of performance, the RS4 Plus largely delivers. The AMOLED display is a standout feature, offering crisp and vibrant colors. The GPS accuracy during my runs was impressive, closely matching my dedicated GPS running watch. Heart rate tracking seemed accurate for the most part, although occasionally it would fluctuate slightly during intense workouts. Sleep tracking provided detailed insights into my sleep patterns.

The battery life, advertised as 10 days, generally held true under normal usage, dropping down to around 7 days with more intensive use and GPS tracking. The charging is quick, which was always appreciated.
