Over the past few weeks, I’ve been putting the MMG USB A to Lightning Cable (model number: USBAtoL2M) through its paces. This 2-meter MFi certified cable promises fast charging, reliable data transfer, and exceptional durability. But does it deliver on those promises? Let’s dive in.

The manufacturer highlights its reinforced joint technology and extensive testing (10,000+ bend and plug/unplug cycles) as indicators of superior durability. This is a critical area for any charging cable, as repeated bending and plugging often lead to premature failure.

In my testing, the USBAtoL2M cable consistently met its advertised charging speeds. I charged several different iPhones (13, 14 Pro Max) and iPads, and in every instance, charging was fast and efficient. Data transfer speeds also aligned with the manufacturer’s claims. I transferred large files between my iPhone and laptop without any noticeable lag or interruptions.

The durability claims were also put to the test. I intentionally subjected the cable to repeated bending and twisting. While I didn’t reach the 10,000 cycles claimed, after several hundred cycles, the cable showed no signs of damage or performance degradation. The reinforced joint appears to be robust.
