Over the past few weeks, I’ve been putting the bm-rt4 Magnetic Case for iPhone 11 through its paces. This MagSafe-compatible case promises a strong magnetic connection, excellent drop protection, and a comfortable grip. But does it deliver on all its promises? Let’s dive in.

The bm-rt4 boasts a sleek, translucent matte design in titanium gray. The frosted back feels premium and resists fingerprints remarkably well. The case is constructed from a flexible TPU frame and a scratch-resistant PC back, providing a dual layer of protection. The raised lips around the screen and camera lens offer additional safeguard against scratches and impacts. Of course, the key selling point is its seamless integration with MagSafe. The magnets are precisely aligned, making wireless charging a breeze.

The magnetic connection is exceptionally strong. The case snaps onto my MagSafe charger with a satisfying click, and I’ve never experienced any slippage during charging. Wireless charging speeds are consistent with what I’d expect from a MagSafe-compatible case. I’ve also tested it with a MagSafe wallet and a ring holder, and both attached and detached without any issues. The drop protection is also impressive. I accidentally dropped my phone a few times (don’t worry, it wasn’t intentional!), and the case absorbed the impact effectively. My phone remained unscathed.

While the case provides great protection, it does add a bit of bulk. It’s not overly bulky, but it’s noticeably thicker than some slimmer cases. This is a trade-off I’m willing to accept given the level of protection it provides.
