After several weeks of rigorous (and surprisingly enjoyable) testing, here’s our honest review.

The MMPET012 boasts a charming cat-ear design and is constructed from a tightly woven sisal material. The 9cm thickness promises durability and should withstand even the most enthusiastic scratching sessions. The integrated ball toy adds an element of playful engagement, and the overall size provides ample space for both scratching and lounging. The beige/white color scheme is neutral enough to blend into most home decors.

Mittens took to the MMPET012 immediately. The sisal texture seemed to satisfy her scratching instincts perfectly, and the ball toy provided hours of amusement. The bed itself is surprisingly sturdy; it doesn’t wobble or move easily, even during Mittens’ most energetic scratching bouts. The 61cm length and 40cm width provide plenty of space for her to stretch out and nap comfortably. We’ve noticed a significant decrease in her interest in our furniture since introducing this scratch pad – a definite win!

While the quality of the sisal is impressive, we did notice a slight shedding of fibers initially. This subsided after a few days, though. The overall construction feels robust, and we expect it to last a considerable time with regular use.
